Introduction to Climate Fiction Workshop (2023)

In this workshop, I shared my approach to writing my climate science-fiction/fantasy novel to discuss what climate fiction is, why it’s important, and how you can get started writing your own climate story. Whether you’re an enthusiastic reader of climate fiction or an emerging or established writer, I think you’ll find my workshop, available on YouTube, worth the watch.

Want to learn more, but short on time/attention span? Same, tbh. Check out the key excerpts from the workshop:

With Caffeine and Careful Thought Vol. 4 book launch (2018)

As Editor-in-Chief, I helped publish the fourth volume of With Caffeine and Careful Thought. Below you will see photos from the book launch, which featured a reveal of the finalized publication, speeches, readings, warm fuzzy feelings of literary community, and the incredible talent and support of the writers, editors, visual artists who came along for the ride. Here is an article where I talk more about this process.

Shout out to all the folks who helped make this exciting space in the literary scene at University of Toronto Mississauga. You made the fourth year of my undergrad an absolute dream.
